Terms
MyIA is offered by Machina Intelligence, in Bologna. It is in development and available by invitation. These terms are short because the product is small and the honest description of it is short.
What you get
An account on this deployment, for as long as it runs. No uptime is promised, no support window, and no guarantee that a feature you rely on today exists next month. Things will break; you will be told when they do.
What we ask
- Use it for your own work. Do not resell access or share your account.
- Do not use it to send anything unlawful, and remember that mail sent through MyIA is sent from your address, by you, after you approved it.
- Do not attempt to reach other accounts’ data. There is one tenant per account and the boundaries are tested; if you find a hole, tell us rather than using it.
Approvals
MyIA parks every irreversible action behind an explicit approval. When you approve something, you are sending that email or writing that calendar entry — MyIA drafted it and you decided. Read the card before you say yes. Approvals expire after a day, so a card you never answered cannot be resolved by a “yes” you meant for something else.
Models and cost
Answering you costs money in model tokens. On this deployment that is either your own API key, if you add one under Settings, or ours. Either way there is a daily ceiling per account, and the Usage screen shows what has been spent. If you add your own key, your agreement with that provider governs those requests.
Your content
Yours. Uploading a document does not give anyone a licence to it beyond what is needed to store, index and answer from it for you. It is not used to train anything. Export or delete it whenever you like — see Privacy.
Ending it
Delete your account from Settings whenever you want; it takes effect immediately and stored files are swept within 30 days. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why.
Liability
MyIA is provided as-is while in development. It drafts text with a language model, and language models get things wrong — which is the entire reason nothing is sent without your approval. Check what you approve. To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you have paid, which is currently nothing.
Law
Italian law, courts of Bologna, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
